Rejected SG50 Song Is Pretty Good

This year marks a Jubilee year for Singapore as she prepares for her 50th birthday. There have been many SG50 submissions be they songs, or short films.

One song in particular was rejected not because it didn’t meet expectations. In fact this song was well written and well arranged. It was rejected only because it wasn’t written by a Singaporean.

We complain about foreign talents doing this and foreign talents doing that, but we have to give credit where it’s due.

You decide whether this song does our country justice or not.
