Singaporeans, we love to complain. We can complain about anything, transport, queues, crowd even the weather. Yet when we travel on holiday or live for extended periods away from our island nation we always smile when we walk through the gates of Changi Airport.
We’re not a perfect country but there are so many things that we take for granted, perhaps most of all the food, friends, family and the comfort of knowing we can walk around with a very low risk of getting stabbed.
Don’t take my word for it, watch this video of Singaporean students in Manchester talk about home.
