Gratitude – Workers Party will be fielding their MPs in the five member GRC at the Sept 11 polls. Chairman Sylvia Lim wishes to repay the Aljunied residents for their faith by fielding a strong team no matter what PAP does.
Fresh – SDP’s introduced two new faces, John Tan and Sidek Mallek. John Tan has since gone on record that he would like to bridge the gap for lower income families, enhance current education standards to stimulate creativity and to empower the people.
Power – SingFirst led by former presidential candidate Mr Tan Jee Say announced their first five candidates and his intention to challenge PAP stronghold, Tanjong Pagar. SingFirst will be looking to wrestle some control back from PAP in a bid to hit at the immigration policies.
999 – Workers Party’s, Daniel Goh has a made a Police Report after a letter was sent to various media outlets as well as Workers Party officials alleging that Dr Goh had been involved with a former student.
Brand New – PAP has revealed their team to contest Aljunied GRC and it’s left more than a few people labeling the team “Suicide Squad” (not in a cool way either). DPM Tharman unveiled the team in Aljunied, and too the surprise of a few Mr Lim Boon Heng wasn’t leading the troupe. But Mr Lim did say that it shows that PAP does care about Aljunied with the fact that DPM Tharman was present.
Buried – Apparently any difference between lawyer M. Ravi and activist Roy Ngerng has been buried as both eccentrics have been unveiled as the candidates to contest Ang Mo Kio GRC, with lawyer M. Ravi to lead. The contest will pit Roy Ngerng and M. Ravi against Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong – This will be entertaining.
