Some love for Lim Swee Say…

A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit.

– Arnold H. Glasow

He showed that he was not afraid to admit his flaws and mistakes and he definitely is one who takes a little less share of the credit for the good work done.

That is Lim Swee Say for you.

Scouring through Facebook, you would see numerous status posts talking about him. A check reveals that the people who posts those status updates are staff of the NTUC past and present. (Oh, Miyagi has blogged about Minister Lim too!)

To many, Lim Swee Say is just another minister (and perhaps one with many gaffes), but seeing from the many status updates, you can’t help but feel the urge to look deeper into the man and wonder why the staff had so much admiration of the man.

If you had watched the PAP East Coast GRC’s rally last evening, you would have seen and heard a crowd of supporters from the NTUC who were there. Lim was the NTUC chief before crossing over to the Manpower Ministry in May this year. But that did not stop them from continuing to show some lurvvve and support to their former boss…

Seems like lots of love and support for the man running in the elections
