Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club are running final tests on their online betting platforms, which means punters can soon bet online (Probably by end of October)!
Why this initiative? You ask me, I ask who?
is it too easy for the kids?
I hope the sites have certain control re this or should it be a case of parental guidance?
everything also gahment’s fault?
Or is it just yourself?
NOBODY ASKED ME BUT,
As much as I’m a “Pro-choice”, I feel that this initiative could be a toeing the line for me. Yes, nobody is forcing me to gamble but making it too accessible doesn’t sound very right either. If self-discipline is real we can jolly well allow all drugs and weapons since we can just practise self-discipline, isn’t it? “Nobody asked you to take drugs mah, we are just selling it at 7-Eleven.”
So why this move? Is it to counter illegal online gambling sites? Is it really a case of the lesser of the two evils? In that case, could we also lower the crime rate of drug smuggling simply by legalising all drug imports?
And with this legalised, does that means we will soon have online Jackpot, poker and more?
